DIS CURSUS

SOUND VIDEO INSTALLATION / GENERATIVE FILM / MULTI-SCREEN PROJECTION ON FOUR SCREENS

Dis Cursus is a multi-screen generative video installation built around a man and a woman whose relationship continually forms and dissolves through images, voices, and fragments of text.

They walk, run, speak, think, desire one another, reject one another. At times they cross paths without ever truly meeting. No linear narrative structures their presence. Instead, the film unfolds as a mental and emotional flow composed of appearances, repetitions, displacements, and ruptures.

The generative system allows the sequences to recombine endlessly across several screens. Dialogues, voice-overs, gestures, and situations constantly shift in order and proximity, producing new emotional and narrative tensions with each variation.

Through this fragmented form of writing, Dis Cursus seeks less to tell a story than to capture the unstable movements of a relationship: its hesitations, contradictions, impulses, and breaking points. The characters gradually become figures within an interior dialogue where memory, desire, solitude, and projection intermingle.

As in much of my work, the film is constructed within the intervals: between words and images, between presence and absence, between reality and fiction. Meaning is never entirely fixed; it emerges through shifts, correspondences, and resonances.
